Strip Dryers

Dustair Limited have completed a series of strip dryers designed to remove the contamination from the surface of strip being handling on both process and pickle line systems ensuring the removal of any contamination before the strip continued onto further processing. The system used high pressure air blowing onto the strip at velocities in excess of 20,000 feet per minute in order to break the surface tension and free the liquid from the surface of the strip. The air being blown onto the surface was elevated using a steam coil to induce some water removal by evaporation.
